First time poster/long time fan?
Hi,
I've been reading the Tape Op boards and tons of other recording pages for years now yet have never actively participated. I decided to start here.
I've been recording music for 7 years now. I've put out 2 of my own albums for my prog-roc afrobeat band, done free and paid work for other groups and have experience writing radio friendly songs for paying clients.
I've done this while being in graduate school so all of it has been done on a TIGHT budget. $300 is a lot to me. Therefore all my gear is extensively researched (hence all the tape op reading) before I purchase and my "studio" has just enough to get the job done.
I'm happy to share my limited knowledge and glad to finally be an active member of the community.

Sorry about the smell. And no, I have no idea what that stain on the rug is.
