I got some CDs (remember those shiny silver disc things?):

Ultimate Stan Getz
Eric Alexander - Revival of the Fittest
Grizzly Bear - Yellow House
Homer & Jethro - America's Song Butchers
Homer & Jethro - Best of Hall of Fame 2001
St. Vincent - Actor
Wilco (the album)

...and I also got a set of omni caps for my pair of MXL 603s'

Happy Holidays everybody!

I gave. I gave again, and then gave more... to me it's more about the giving, not the getting...

I did get a few gift cards for various eateries. Yum. My family will go with me.

Cheers
Howling at the neighbors. Hoping they have more mic cables.

Electro Harmonix LPB-1 from the old lady. Tried it with her Princeton, and it rocks. Can't wait to check it out with my Gemini.

Also got some rad tools, a vise, and a DMM from my step dad. Totally useful shit for my DIY projects.

Bought myself a new Macbook Pro with Logic 9 and an Akai MPK49 controller keyboard. Wanted to get a nice portable setup, and I think this will do the deed. Hope everyone is well for the season!

Strings, hammer tips and yarn for a Clavinet I'm nursing back to health.
A new relay for my Leslie 145.

The hammer tips and strings have been installed. This yarn is killing me though.
Why not?

The lady got me a set of handbells (which I've already used here) and a xaphoon! So far I can make some great goose sounds. I'm a skins and strings guy myself.

My relatives got me a really nice hand saw and flush saw, and a Monster XLR cable that looks nicer than most cables I own. Nice. Tomorrow morning I start construction on my 1x12 with my dear old grandfather. Can't wait.

Sony Reader Touch.

Hey, it's still gear. I have lyric sheets on it. And I can edit Word docs and stuff, plus read books. Yay.

Electro Harmonix Memory Boy
Nady RSM-5 ribbon
Auralex Mopads
Behringer Dimension C clone
Dubrek Stylophone
Tapeop books Vol 1 & 2
9v batteries
printer cartridges
Artificial Ivy for studio decoration
and a bunch of other not-musical but great stuff...

A very tapeop christmas! I'm grateful.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, everyone!

Edit: add a Gakken SX-150 analog mini synth kit. Wikked fun.
