Interesting! I was checking out still photos of sonic booms and it just made me realize how physical sound/music is.

You can also make people poop their pants with the Navy patented "Brown Sound"...

Oh, and it's not the sound per se, it's the energy being transferred via the air medium that is moving the object.

Try using sound underwater, you can get a much more efficient transfer with less loss of energy, because of the density of water.

Remember the PT boats hunting for U-Boats in WWII?? They did not really need to hit the submarine with the depth charges, as long as they were close, a lot of damage would get transferred to the submarine through the water medium. If this happened in air, not much would happen to the submarine.
