I will never part from my spx90.

I wish my Rev7 wasn't sick.. not sure if its worth the bench costs to fix it up.. right input doesn't pass audio, and the wet/dry pot is all fucked.

On top of that my LXP-1 is on the way out as well..

Because it always sounds good when you turn it up loud. They don't do subtle too well but when you want something in your face they kill.

Does the 90 have '60s sweep flange' or is that just the 900? I've had some fun with that patch. And I've used my 900 as predelay for my plate a few times.

i dunno about the flange... i'll see if it has that specific patch.

it's really fun to put a distorted room mic into symphonic...

I have the "Magicstomp" multi effects pedal that allegedly is the SPX90 in a foot pedal. Sadly, it seems to have taken the winter poorly and is not turning on well. I really liked it :(

yes! Yamaha 'verbs don't seem to get enough love. Sometimes I want that rich, complex Lexicon 'verb... But sometimes I want a bright, totally fake sounding 'verb. Yamaha does that wonderfully.

<3 for the Rev7. SPX90 is pretty cool, too.

When I was at MTSU the SPX90 was pretty much left alone by everyone, because we had a M6000, PCM70, and other "high end" verbs. I ended up having to print the pinch shift I used for vocals so I could use the gate on drums. The song sort of sounded like the Cars, so it was perfect.

So... you could say that it was... JUST WHAT YOU NEEDED??

And hey, I used the Rev7. Remember that night we tried to get the Rev1 dinosaur working?

I enjoy my SPX-90 still. However a couple patches have an odd tick that happens on them. My LXP-1 has issues and I miss it greatly. I keep hoping someone comes up with a service option to get it back on track.

I really love my Rev 7. I love how it approaches everything it does (including flange, etc.) as a room simulation. It gives the sound a lot of depth and character, IMO.

I like the Rev 7, I used it a couple times. I always liked how the EQ was on the front and had knobs

That's why I bought it over the spx 90, it had more of an interface. I like being able to punch in 100 ms [enter] instead of holding down an up arrow for a couple minutes.
