LA tube amp repair?

Anybody know who "the guy" (or girl) is for tube amp repair is in Los Angeles area?

It's not for me, but for a friend of a friend who has an old vibrolux that he wants to restore to orignal specs after years of heavy modification. I guess Blackie from New York is out here now, but I've known so many people who've had mixed experiences with him. I'm just curious if anybody has any favorites around here.

The guy your friend should go see is Steve Dikun in Burbank; www.rockandrolldoctor.com. He has his own line of hand-built boutique guitar amps as well as being one of the better amp techs in L.A..
