Morning Inspiration: Imogen Heap

Post by plurgid » Wed Mar 31, 2010 7:49 am

I ran across this set of videos this morning. I'm totally inspired by this chick .... so incredibly creative. About an hour of video split up across 2 pages ... second page videos are the best.

Tape Op should TOTALLY do an interview with Imogen Heap ... a very interesting person.

Thanks! That's great.

Her live vocal looping trick is happening too.

Imogen seems like the first of the next generation of good pop musicians. She's got the technical and traditional music/performance skills to make professional albums at home, then put them across live without a big supporting cast.

She is quite the talent...
She just won a Grammy award for "Best Engineered Album" ...her own.. which is a first.
..and sang a song on a Jeff Beck album.. all which make her ok in my book.

When you use AudioSuite plug ins, you make a new audio file, instead of overwriting the current selection. It right there on the menu of the plug in.

Cheers
