Here you can see ?uestlove of Roots fame tweaking knobs on a board I can not identify, neat automation.

And on a purely pop music note, Joanna Newsom singing with the Roots is wicked cool the way Paul Simonon playing with the Gorillaz kind of is.

looks like one of the older Digidesign control 24 things, shit maybe a newer one.
