Adapter for Altec outs?

The old school screw type thing. Googling "screw to 1/4 trs" didn't yield any usable results.

Basically you just want bare wire on one end and 1/4" trs on the other, right? I would just open up one end of a trs cable. You can order bare end custom made cables from Redco as well, but I don't see much point in it.

Now we're getting somewhere. Thanks guys. Do I want to use the 150 ohm output or the 600 ohm output?

What Altec is it? I would use the 600 ohm out if you're going into a recorder or d/a converter.
On a lot of Altec gear you'd be using terminals 1 and 4 for that, and strapping terminals 2 and 3 together. There's a cool little connector that came with old Altecs that I bet you'll never find if it doesn't have it. You'll have to make a bridge with those spade lugs or "crimp connectors", as I call them. Good luck!

It's a 1612A limiter. I see where some of the "Urei lug" listings on ebay come with a couple of those connectors that have a resister in between them. That's probably the bridge you are talking about?
