Good prototyping boards?

Post by The Scum » Fri May 28, 2010 11:50 am

I seem to have lost my source for decent and affordable solderable prorotyping board. There was an ebay seller who had a variety of boards, but they're apparently no longer registered.

They had a variety of boards in various configurations...IC pattern, pad-per-hole, of different sizes.

I've got a handful of prototypes that I need to get into a more solid form, and I need some boards. I'm not eager to use the phenolic rat-shack boards. Something fiberglass, with mask, non-thru-plated holes, available from North America, and roughly $8 for a 3x5 piece would be ideal.

Does anyone have a good resource?

To reply to myself:

I just got a handful of suitable cards from my local shop. They're Velleman pn ECS1/2. 1/2 Eurocard (~3"x4"), pad-per-hole on one side.

To the solder bench, Robin!

In the US:

If you're not scared of ordering from Thailand:

http://www.futurlec.com/ProtoBoards.shtml

I've bought from both of these guys and had good experiences.
