Very nice!!!

And paying a 100 cleaning fee for them to clean it up is not bad. dwlb, would you rather they charge for a daily maid service?
I was kidding, really.

i can also see trying to record in that house being an absolute disaster. neighbors complaining. the guitarist disappearing somewhere on the beach. too many parties instead of working. power going out for 2 days during a storm. seal barking ruing vocal takes. etc.

however, probably a fun ride. i think there is a plug-in to fix all of that in mixdown anyway.

While I am a bit more of an air hockey fan (mostly because I'm a bit better at it), I think it best to just have both air hockey AND a pool table. Different moods, different needs. I find pool a very contemplative game while air hockey gets the aggresion out.

...and while you're at it, ping-pong.

i guess i was trying to say that one of my top reasons to use a pro facility is having a kick ass assistant engineer around. it makes all the difference in the world for me. i just to focus on things like LISTENING, not all the other stuff.

I used to be a staff engineer at a place with a pool table. It got lots of use. R&B legend General Johnson used to challenge everyone to a game where he would only use one arm. He ALWAYS won.

Mitch Easter just got a pretty badass table for the Fidelitorium.

Refelection in Charlotte had one that was featured on Murmur.

I'm kind of surprised the Fidelitorium just got a pool table. Though I can see Mitch as more of an air hockey guy.
I just mixed something he tracked- he should worry more about the hi/hat sounds he records.
