hmmmm, and an iphone strapped to a mic stand? a music app? looks as if it goes to his mac by his feet? or more than likely the headphone out goes directly to a direct box/interface...

absolutely. i shouldn't let my own taste get in the way of gear appreciation, or even of musical styles.

Of course I've had it in the ear before.....

My reaction to that arm waving thing makes me feel like a cynical bastard.

well, the name of their newest album is called "church music." and yes, they are considered a christian band. they are well known for using technology in their concerts...like a robotic drummer they call "steve," in which they have programed it to play the correct rhythmic patterns in their concerts, they build their own synths, they have a "rock band" guitar controller that plays live whatever chords they need, etc etc etc.

here's steve:

And I just got really angry. I could on a long fucking rant, but I won't. I'll just say this shit really hit a sore nerve for me.

Basically he who walks and talks tolerance is tolerable as long as your in agreement with them and there beliefs.

I really, really like DCB, but that isn't the best use of the monster modular there. A microkorg should have pulled that off.

BTW I'm out there in one of them there clips....
