Seeking Sennheiser MD211 opinions

Vintage Sennheiser omni-dynamics.

Does anyone know anything about these mics? I'm looking at buying a consecutive pair but I don't see ANY of these on the used market so I'm not sure what a fair price is.

Thanks in advance.

Hmmm... well maybe these are just as obscure as they seem.

I've never never met a vintage Sennheiser or an omni-dynamic I didn't like, so maybe I'll give these a spin anyway.

Did you ever find a set?
If you do, be sure to download and read the PDF of the manual. There is an XLR "U" and a tuchel "N" version that are wired differently. If you find the latter, be extra sure to make, or repair your adapters correctly. The output of the Sennheiser MD211N microphone is: PIN1POS PIN2SHIELD! PIN3NEG.

Happy to add some useful if obscure knowledge to the discussion.
As the OP said, they are not a very well known model.
I acquired a pair many years ago but just recently downloaded the manual.
It was two years late for the OP but I figured I might as well put the info out there.
