Microphonic fabrics

From the wacky (and Brilliant!) folks at Prof. Fink's lab at MIT - fibers with acoustic generating and microphonic properties.

This could lead to the engineers' impossible dream; the fully-functioning Telefunken Hawaiian shirt.

Very cool. I remember hearing something about this a few months back.

Though, I'm more of an RE20 thong man myself.

That stuff opens up a whole new world of possible uses.

Broadway singers would just wear their mics as part of their costume. No more bulky battery packs.

Spys could listen in on the bad guys in a whole new way.

The possibilities seem endless
Um excuse me, these headphones aren't working...

They aren't totally unusable, but damn they do chafe my nutsack. There are definately better shorts out there. I'm more of a Coles banana hammock sorta guy. They gently cup your package in a very pleasing way, and the closer they are to your junk, the bigger it looks.

...ugh...i think that's the first time I've posted the word nutsack on the internets.
