Hi,
I dunno if this is the right space but...
I'm coming out with a new version of a CD which has been out for 10 years. I have about 300 unsold copies of the old version of this thing which will -never- be sold--since the new version replaces it
So the jewel boxes and artwork are still fine.
Any suggestions on how/if it's economical to re-purpose the packaging? Specifically?
1. Have the new version pressed with no jacket.
2. Unwrap the old CDs and then insert the new versions into the old jewelboxes.
3. Send them someplace for shrink-wrapping.
QUESTIONS:
1. Do most mfgrs press CDs without packaging? ie. just the CD with no jewelbox? Is this economical?
2. Is there a place in Seattle that will shrink-wrap these economically?
TIA,
---JC

Re: Shrink Wrap
Most manufacturers will shrink-wrap supplied unwrapped CD packages.
Just call around or e-mail for rates. You don't have to go with someone in Seattle, unless you want what they call "someone within strangling distance" in case something goes wrong.
