And a much smaller space in which to have to install it.

Bwahahaha!
The truth of a proposition has nothing to do with its credibility. And vice versa.

False.

On a related note, does anybody else's iPod freak out when you try to play .wav files on it?

nope. works dandy. I use it to reference mixes on my phones, and in my car & home stereo all the time. much easier than burning a coaster.

My iPod works fine with wav files.

And obviously opinions can be neither true nor false. But, thanks for sharing yours.

Opinions can be false, but obviously, that's just my opinion.

Yeah for some reason my iPod really does not like wavs. On different occasions, I've had weird glitchy noises, skipping, slower responding buttons and all out freezes. This is on a 160bg Classic that is only a few months old.
Main reason I got a bigger iPod was to start keeping higher resolution music on it.
