Lexicon PCM42 and it's worth for 1k

Post by Ryan Silva » Thu Dec 02, 2010 3:04 pm

I have been looking for some rack mount delay units lately. I have been using a D.Memory Man for my main vocal delay, and would love to not have to use a re-amp box every time, every mix.

Saw a used Lexicon PCM42 for 1k, and was thinking about it?.

Any thoughts on its quality of sound?

When not using my MM, I have been using a TC M3000, which is much better at reverbs than a quick delay setup, just to keep that in mind.

Thanks

If it's in absolute mint condition with the proper top panel that shows the schematic, $1k is a reasonable price. I think I paid $800 for my mint condition one but they have gone up in value a bit over the years.
