Yes, it always looks like this. Yes, I'm a pathological neat freak.
In lieu of a lava lamp.

I wish I could figure out how to imbed these. Never works.
Anyway, this is my basement lair, and my project room. Right now.

Just opened two new rooms, only been up and running for a couple of weeks. It's taken us about three months from starting to plan it to getting it all up and running (except for a faulty Aurora, which is still to be returned!) I've been very impatient.
Hope it stays this tidy!
Also have this writing/demo/overdub room.
Having the new rooms has made me want to overhaul our main tracking control room and live rooms, it's been keeping me up at night.
I've loved seeing all your spaces, it's really exciting seeing where people sit/stand and create/obsess/discover.

Wow... very literate, too!vvv wrote:Y'know, we are almost neighbors; I'm inna south suburbs of Chi.
Butt I'm not sure if that's a wampeter, foma or gran falloon.
Well, Chi isn't really a wampeter of where I live, but it's not too far, either. I live about 40 minutes north of Indy in lovely Kokomo, and Chi is about 3.5 hours from my door. I do trek up that way often, as it's the closest place any bands I dig will come to central Indiana. The "Bob's Country Bunker" stereotype reaches far beyond Jake and Elwood, unfortunately!
Hey, man, have a merry Christmas!

Actually this is not RIGHT now, but it's pretty close. Sorry to say the Moog isn't mine. http://i629.photobucket.com/albums/uu12 ... G_1267.jpg
I make a living as an electrician, not recording in the basement.

Tonight's version, after switching to the new ProTools 9 machine and moving some stuff around. Not all wired up yet, not 100% happy with everything. It's much simpler and cleaner, and that's fine, but not sure yet about functionality.

A dead ringer for a Chicago bungalow basement, bar and all. Where's the emoticon for jealousy?goose134 wrote:Actually this is not RIGHT now, but it's pretty close. Sorry to say the Moog isn't mine. http://i629.photobucket.com/albums/uu12 ... G_1267.jpg
