I could not get enough tilt to compensate, hence the inverted monitors. It actually works fine.
Hey, whatever works!

i have been feeling pretty proud of my space since it's my own construction on very limited resources but now i'm trying very hard not to feel like an abject failure after seeing Chris'.

hahaha. beautiful though. is that a trident desk? i did a good part of my schoolin' on a trident.

This studio was built by two guys who learned as they went along. It took them two years, but there was no silver spoon or money tree available to them. It's been refined over a twelve year period by three people who loved it, but there's nothing unobtainable about any of it.

The desk is an Amek Angela and I have suspicions that it was the last one ever made, although I don't know that for sure. You can read more about the console and the work it took to get it where it is now in this thread.

Man, Old House looks comfy. I like the hat on the binaural head.

I have fond memories of working on an Angela, back when I was first starting out. How do you like it?

I LOVE it. I'm convinced that they are some of the finest consoles that were ever made in the below $100k price range. I've worked on maybe four or five different ones over the years and I've always dug 'em.

Page two, about a third of the way down. You can use the $35 for shipping.

That's not the building in Salford that's haunted, is it?
