reamp options

How much better is a reamp v2/radial Xamp (200ish) compared to the radial proRMP (100ish..anyone using this?).

I'm on a tight, non-pro budget and the reamp seems to be in manufacturing limbo, so I'm tempted to grab the 100 dollar option, but wondering if I'll regret it later. I'm assuming the main difference is in the transformer...but how much am I going to notice that through a dirty memory man and a fender tube amp?

I just built one. Not sure how handy you are. I think parts cost me around $50 and it sounds good to my ears. Just an option.

Pretty much zero... I have both (Reamp V2 and Radial RMP), use them interchangably, and don't notice any difference at all. The Reamp has a much more usable trimpot and has a combo XLR for the input, but soundwise I notice no difference.
I haven't heard the more-expensive Radial guy but I think it's active, which seems inconvenient to me.
