Playback Issue in Logic

Hello,

This has never happened before. Basically:
1. I am listening to the song play.
2. I am ready to record.
3. I hit the asterisk to just manually punch in.
4. Recording begins, but all other tracks are silent. No playback.

Please help me out if you can. Thanks in advance for your help!

This seems pretty obvious, but have you checked to make sure it's not soloed? What happens if you auto punch in and out? Try selecting the track and hitting option + S. That works to clear up soloing problems for some people.

Thanks. Somehow it fixed itself. Have no idea what the deal was.

I've had this problem occasionally. Spent far too much time the other day when this happened, but wouldn't go away. Worse, when I did get it back working, it would go silent if I drag a bit of audio or messed with the drum loop. Ack
