echo audiofire 12/firebox compatibility

Post by timh » Thu Mar 03, 2011 9:22 pm

i might be getting a 16 channel mixer pretty soon. i finally get to mix out of the box, but i only have a presonus firebox right now and thats not gunna give me enough channels obviously, so if i were to get the echo audiofire 12, could i daisy chain it with the firebox to get 16 ins/16 outs? or do i need 16 channels of the same interface type?

Hmm, I actually own both the Firebox and the Audiofire 12. Never thought to try to daisy chain them. I'll give it a shot tomorrow and let you know how it goes if nobody else is able to give you definitive info.

Well you can daisy-chain them together so you can use either one of them at a time. I don't believe you can use them simultaneously though.
