I would feel the same...except that I picked up an ilok for the PT 9 upgrade. Eager to try this guy out on some drum busses and room mics.

Yes, these guys are my favourite software devs. This new comp is fun for smashing stuff into distorted oblivion.

yeah I got mine at the TapeOp SXSW party too - there is a pretty small range where you can get some typical compression and then it goes into distortion, however i'm not complaining! it's a nice distortion that I imagine will be good for adding a little grit to something (drums, vocals, ?). only played around with it for a few minutes though so far.
