tracks for holding fiberglass to the wall
tracks for holding fiberglass to the wall
I am looking for the tracks in the pictures. I'd like to know where I could get something identical for a good price. I'm lining the wall with them so I can put the insulation over the wall, then covering it all with a grille cloth fabric.
I know little to nothing about construction, My construction person pays too much for everything. He does a great job and works faster than anyone I know. This isn't about him marking up parts, it's more about ignorance. He was showing me receipts for what he was buying and god damn is he getting bent over New York style on buying materials of any kind! He was paying 3x what I do for the same fiberglass materials.
This is the second stage of making a small recording room for recording one instrument or vocalists. I have a ton of corning 703 cut to 1" and 4" thicknesses, 1" for the tracks and 4" for bass traps.
More pictures of the space here, http://www.rossmanngroup.com/img/studio/ , http://rossmanngroup.com/img/newworkshop/repairroom.jpg is what the "booth" looks like. http://rossmanngroup.com/img/studio/tinyfive.jpg and http://rossmanngroup.com/img/studio/tinyfour.jpg is what I am trying to replace. I want to do the entire room in 1" fiberglass with the tracks, 4" fiberglass bass traps in the corners and ceiling corners. The place is 99.9% pop/hip hop. I can't do it in one of the corners because of the vent, luckily it makes zero audible noise. [/img]
Real friends stab you in the front.
