replacement drives/caddies for IZ radar 24?

Post by joninc » Tue Jul 26, 2011 11:19 am

hey guys - i am wondering if any of you Radar owners have DIY'd your own hd's and caddies. IZ sells em for $500 bones and i just don't have that kind of cash.

i know they are SCSI drives and the bays are probably just rebranded but i need a point in the right direction and wondering if anybody else has done this...

(don't know if it matters but i am on software vs 3.39 i think)
the new rules : there are no rules

Not much help on Radar -- We use SCSI drives with the Roland and the caddies are impossible now to locate. The last caddies went for 10 times the cost of the drive .. we purchased a half dozen when we could .......

Hope there are sources still out there http://www.gearslutz.com/board/high-end ... rives.html
whatever happened to ~ just push record......
