Another Mystery Mic....

Post by tonewoods » Wed Nov 30, 2011 9:58 am

Hi all...

Picked these up recently, and would love to know what they are...

There's an indentation at the bottom of the mic that might have contained a label at one point--hoping that someone out there might have one that is intact...

American made, I think, judging by the Switchcraft XLR plugs...

They're heavy, and sound pretty decent...

Anyone?
Thanks!

I often find that the 1984 US Quarter produces a lot of harsh transients. :D

I don't know what mics those are, but I can tell you I hate switches on mics.

They look nutty enough to be Laniers... I have a few (not like yours).
But that would be my guess.

BAM!

Also, don't forget to pay attention to the heads and tails of the track in mastering.
