logic 8 and vst plugins?

so, i just got a g5 with logic 8 on it, but it doesnt see my waves ssl 4000 collection. is there a trick im missing? or does it not work? im feeling pretty mac stoopid right now :/

You need to install the Audio Unit (AU) version of the plugin for Logic. It does not use VST.

well, since i cant get logic to see both my 828mkIIs at once, im kindof boned. gonna have to put it up for a while, and just go back to my pc for now. probably best to take this mac thing one step at a time or just invest in a good macpro, and protools 9/ idk... cant afford it right now. idk.

Create an aggregate device out of your 828s.

no, i didnt download any manuals for a computer that was of little cost, and didnt come with said manual. i unplugged it, and put my pc back in to place.... but since we are dragging on with what should be a dead thread, hows your day?
