I worked on Manowar's Hell on Wheels Live and engineered and/or produced a few bands' albums on Joey DeMaio's record label. Most of the stories I have are ones that were told to me by the band members, not witnessed first hand.

Wow, thanks for the answer, Farview! The TOMB rules! Especially since I posted this question as a lark. Spent gobs of time trying to figure it out on my own, with no luck.

And of course, much respect that you worked for Manowar back in the day.
