Cubase SX3 Crashing When Importing Files......this is new.

has anyone had this problem?
The files are 24/48 wavs that can be opened and sound fine in soundforge, etc.. but crashes cubase each time i try to import them - anyone ever had this happen?

Is there some watermark voodoo that could cause this? The files are coming from protools.

Are other files doing the same thing?
