Anyone know best motherboard for a MOTU PCI324 card?

Post by Snarl 12/8 » Wed Feb 01, 2012 10:14 am

There's all kinds of warnings about the PCI 324 (oldest MOTU card, IIRC) not working with even the later versions of old style PCI motherboards. Something about using a different voltage than what quickly became the standard for a while. Has anyone done any research/experiments and found a modernish MOBO that can run the old 324?

Probably not, but I thought I'd ask.

Thanks,

I ran into this while shopping for my 24i/o:

I think you will also have issues if you want to move to win 7 or some newer mac OSes.
