Fairchild 8mm sound film projector tube amp section ideas

I picked up this projector for a couple bucks. Its pretty neat. The sound section has a 7025 12ax7A 6x4 and 6aq5 tubes there are two tape heads. Record and playback plus an overlay section. I was thinking. A- gut the film part and use the amp for recording with a couple mods a speaker would mount nicely on the metal face. B- keep it intact and try to build an 8mm tape delay or C-have a low wattage guitar amp that projects film! Any thoughts or experiments out there with this?
