PISSbox - real time noise cancellation

PISSbox = Passive Inverter and Signal Summing box

This is a little project I did to help the musicians I work with get cleaner live sound. They're lo-fi dudes, and when I say lo-fi I don't mean recording your garage-opera on a boombox. I mean Amiga 500s, circuit bent stuff, gameboys, etc. Stuff that has a serious noise floor that can really be a pain in a live setting.

So what this does is take a stereo signal, invert one side, and then sum to mono. You send hard panned signal through one side and noise floor only through the other. Blam, the hum/hiss/noise is gone. You can toggle the inverting off and on with the switch and adjust the balance with the pot.

I had some early help from the TOMB's own The Scum that made this so much easier to complete. Thanks dude!

nice :)

Also, why did I never think of that? My SidStation must be the noisiest piece of gear in all of history. Our modded gameboy is WAY quieter.
