Tech in mainland Europe for Ampex AG440 restoration?

Post by Tikus » Wed Sep 12, 2012 7:32 am

Hi all,

this is my first post!

I'm looking for a tech in mainland Europe who's knowledgeable with Ampex AG440-C eight track machines to help me finish a restoration project.

Preferably someone in the Netherlands or Belgium, but I'm prepared to transport the machine to a location in the triangle Amsterdam-Bruxelles-Frankfurt.

Thanks for your help.

Thank you ,David.

I found the Ampex UK site and sent an email weeks ago, but received no reply. I''d prefer a tech a bit closer to home, but if I can't find one in my region I'll give Tony Arnold in France a call.
