Mixing with Video in PT9 Native

Post by iC » Thu Oct 04, 2012 11:35 am

Hey ganglions,
Is this possible or am i missing a production pack?
A film i recorded sound for has been edited and audio is synched, but numerous crossfades and gain adjustments need to be made before we go to post mixes and i'd like to do this work on my time if possible. Thanks, kev

Hi,

I believe it can be possible. Can you import a Quicktime Movie into PT 9 (native)?

I've never tried with mine. Only with my PT HD so far, and that works like a dream.

Try to import a Quicktime movie into yours, and see if it works. If it does, you can get the option of extracting the audio into a Stereo track from the movie, as a guide. Priceless feature IMHO.

Cheers
