I just got my hands on an RE 20 this week. Haven't gotten to use it on drums yet. Right now we're still in the vocal testing stage. It seems pretty impressive so far so I'm looking forward to using it on a kick. My favs continue to be the 602, D6, 421 but it all kind of depends on what kind of music or kit I'm recording. I tried using a 160 as an OH before but I just didn't like it up there. Loved it out front as part of an M/S setup though. Let us here some results when you get them.
Of course I've had it in the ear before.....
