Studio / Production Twitter feeds? - Looking for Cool stuff!

Post by alexdingley » Tue Feb 05, 2013 10:09 am

Hey there,

Does anyone have some cool twitter feeds that they follow, regarding studio tech / studio production?

I was just looking at my twitter app, and realizing that it's mostly just social & political stuff from my friends and extended family. I want something more inspiring in my feed.

Please feel free to reply with twitter handles for anyone who posts regular & cool studio / recording / audio production related materials.

I try to tweet about stuff I'm working on; it doesn't always work out that way but I give it a shot. @toxicbag_joe

I throw session related stuff up at tumblr and twitter, but I'm fairly new to both platforms. Mostly Atlanta/SE area related bands.

There's a lot of good ones:

@tapeopmag @joelhamiltone @trustmescience @sonicscoop @iopodcast @recordinghacks

Basically, follow too many and then pare down all the ones that you don't dig. Seems to be the way to go.

I'll second @sonicscoop and @trustmescience. I like the articles both sites publish so following their twitters is great way to find out when they've got something new up.

Also @womensaudio (Women's Audio Mission) has great taste when it comes to posting links-- lots of cool geeky audio stuff and studio pics.

If you're into audio-post, check out @soundworksvideo

My twitter is @MLGmix. I only post about audio and the projects I'm working on. No cats, meals or politics (well, plenty of all in life, but not on my twitter).
