Been looking around for years, folks. I need to transfer a tape! If you smell one nearby, email me at tapes-theatsymbol-hizhaus.com
Thanks!

Off the top of my head, I'd give Dreamhire a call:
http://www.dreamhire.com/audio-services ... r-services
Or try this place in CT (just within the 100 mile range) called Trod Nossel.
The studio I used to work out did some 2" transfers there.

These guys in NJ don't have a 1" listed but I'd bet they might know of somebody who has one.

Thanks, all. None of those guys have this particular config. Mark and Steve cross reference each other, too!eh91311 wrote:http://www.thekennelstudio.com/

The search goes on. I know there are machines out there!
I contacted The Kennel studio in Brooklyn and received confirmation that their 1" Tascam MSR24 24-track deck is in service and ready to go. Visit their site, email them. You will receive a very prompt reply to your inquiry.Osumosan wrote:Thanks, all. None of those guys have this particular config. I emailed them at thekennel@thekennelstudio.com; Jim replied back and confirmed that the Tascam MSR24 1" deck was available.Osumosan wrote:What!? Are you sure?! I'll call Wharton. That's weird, since I digitized my 16 tracks there and he couldn't do the 24 track work.

I passed along your message to Wharton. You should hear back from him soon, if you have not already.Osumosan wrote:Cool. I've left a message. Thanks for cutting through my misconceptions!

Any reason why you can't ship it to me on the West Coast to do the transfer?
