Looking for help from an Arturia Moog Modular guru

Post by alexdingley » Sun Jun 02, 2013 6:45 pm

Hey there,

I'm fairly savvy on synth programming, but I'm having trouble with the Mood Modular V. Looked for good tutorial videos, but never found anything that covers the mixer and oscillators in the depth that I need.

I'm getting sounds, but I'm having trouble getting the mixer to behave as I think it should. Perhaps, it's my expectations that need to change. Anyone who could shed a little light on this monster of a soft-synth, your help would be much appreciated.

I've got the AMM.

It's sort of structured halfway between a real Moog modular and a more "normal" hardwired synth. (From the academic textbook I read, the original modular has some additional components necessary to moving voltage from place to place in the amounts you want; Arturia has wisely left this stuff out of the GUI).

Ask a specific question? I will help if I can.
