OH! Daylight? The secret is out: How to make a good record.

Post by wayne kerr » Sun Aug 04, 2013 11:47 pm

Dang, this place is still around! So I was cleaning my DAT machine with some 15-year-old Bowmore single malt and my trusty handmade Fugazi t-shirt and I thought I would share this little pearl of wisdom for the kids...

What is the secret to a good record you ask? This is all you will ever need to know: Never play louder than lovely.

Carry on.
The Edge... there is no honest way to explain it because the only people who really know where it is are the ones who have gone over.

Funny, I always thought it was the other way around. But then, I make some pretty ugly music.
