TC Electronics M2000?

Post by dennisjames » Sat Oct 12, 2013 4:14 pm

I'm reading good things about the reverb but I'm curious as to the dynamics section -- anyone care to share about compression, limiting, and most important to me, the de-esser?

I have the TC3000 and I never use the Dynamics alone as they are hard to get to the controls but the compression/De-essers sound ok.

I like the de-esser section on my m2000. It has definitely saved some vocals that needed another round of compression but sounded sibilant. I've never used the regular compression cause it's digital and I have several better comps next to it in the rack.

I like that box. i always have. Tiled room and a few other weirdo things work quite well. The gold foil plate is nice also.
The compressor can do crazy stuff.
