The cloud made a giant difference in the sound of the room. Drums have much more focus, but in no way sound dead and lifeless. The room was so splashy without it that I couldn't talk on the phone in there because my own voice going back into the phone made it hard for me to tell what the other person was saying and they had trouble hearing me. Now, no problem. I put room mics further out, beyond the cloud and gear a great open sound. The diffusor (also made from 1x4" boards) contributes as well.kevin206 wrote:Funny.drumsound wrote:Aw Yeah [/Barry White]vvv wrote:Kinda looks like a groovy waterbed in the sky.
So that's a 4'x8' cloud? How big of a difference did it make. I imagine that you still have a big, open sound.
