Eventide "UltraChannel" Free Until July 8th

Post by loxnbabybagels » Tue Jun 10, 2014 3:25 pm

Eventide is allowing free downloads of their new channel strip plug-in until July 8th. An ilok account and the license manager software are required, but a USB dongle is not.

Pro Tools Expert has a cool video on it. There are a lot of features. You can move the modules around to change the signal flow, there are different types of filters for each band of the EQ, plus micro shit and delay right in the channel strip. It's pretty cool.

Thanks for sharing the goodness.

I love these plug ins, and have the TDM versions... but they don't yet have other versions for me to just use.

DAMMIT.

yeah I was wanting RTAS (it's not there) but maybe this will come in handy if/when I finally spring for PT12...

I got an email from Eventide,
They are working on porting the Anthology II bundle by the end of this year
to other plug in formats.

YAY.

This plug in though will do for now.

Okay, so what am I doing wrong? Every time I try to install the iLok License Manager I get "The driver package is not signed" followed by a fatal error. It couldn't have anything to do with the Syncrosoft license manager for my Cubase dongle could it?
Hey, don't you come near me with that mint sauce!

Problems with iLok

Post by cstocker77 » Tue Jun 17, 2014 10:33 am

Lambchop, I too am having an issue with iLok. I'm not sure what the account number is for my iLok account. the only thing it says in iLok manager that resembles a number is the serial number of the actual USB dongle. So i type that in. It says the account number is not a valid account number. I have an account with iLok, i had to set it up when I got Pro Tools 11. Fucking computers make me want to throw all of this shit away and just have a 4 track recorder.

Irritated. Disenchanted.
