Studer B67 Azimuth screw

Post by Leopold » Tue Sep 09, 2014 3:47 pm

Anyone know where this screw is located on the headstack? I have the manual which calls it screw "P" but no where does it have a diagram or pic showing you which screw this is?

here's a pic of the heads:

Thanks,

typically, azimuth screws have a spring under them, it tilts the head. the spring offers tension so the head won't move after adjustment.

i see where that screw is on the picture, it's to the right of the repro and left of the record head.

that's where i'd start...but i'm hesitant to say "go for it" - if you're not sure where the azimuth screw is you may not want to perform head adjustments without proper guidance.

what symptoms are you encountering that lead you to believe azimuth needs adjusting?
