Yah saw this but without winning the lottery I don't think I'll ever see one in my studio lol...I sent the link to my drummer though maybe he'll get me one :-). Though if someone was seriously interested in this setup I have a hard time believing that a lot of folks would pay several times the cost of a comparable dotcom or euro system for this...but I guess there is always someone out there with unlimited resources..

The pricing is more in line with what you'd pay for a vintage moog system than for a contemporary "alternative".

You are referring to the original 901s. They reissued the later 921s which do not drift as bad..

And there's a report from Muff's that they have ALL sold out...

At NAMM there was a bunch of modular synth maker/sellers. More than I've ever seen there. I even saw little tiny kit modules you stick together.

The Korg Little Bits - magnetic snap-together modular synth kit. It's been available for about a year now, and the concept is totally awesome.
