Tascam Midiizer Users!? MTS-1000? IF-1000?

Post by drasp » Thu Feb 19, 2015 5:54 pm

Anyone making good use of a Midiizer!?

Just picked up an MTS-1000 not realizing we'd *ALSO* need an IF-1000 interface to Midiize our 48 & 238. . . Been on the lookout for a 238 in need of some love to fix up & use w/ ours, but would be cool to sync the two decks we're already using. Shoot, haven't even been able to digest the full extent of the dang thing, . . .much larger than expected in person!!! Any links to info on the IF-1000?

I think i got a IF-1000-unit, but i'm in the Netherlands ... Never used it, but it came together with a Midiizer. The midiizer is sold, but the IF1000 should be in my attick!

I maybe have some (homebrew) midiizer-cables too.
I'll check and send you a pm.

Btw: are you the same person as on the Tascam-forum? I couldn't get through overthere ...

I think the drummer may have posted there,. . .not sure what his username is. But we would LOVE to actually get the thing up & running, if for not other reason than just to say we did it!!!

Please do drop a PM, would be interested in whatever Midiizing gear you've got left!

Also - did you ever find much use for the Midiizer? What decks did you sync w/ yours!?

Yes, that was me on the Tascam Forums. Dan and I are trying to sync our machines and we need an IF-1000 and cables. Any tips on the Midiizer would be greatly appreciated.

Haha, nice gathering! :)

I found the unit and two different cables. I also have two sets of 'homebrew-'midiizer'-cables.

PM on the way!
