If someone could drop me a pm or email of who runs it, I'd be pleased to have them verify my id to get a login, or recover a lost one. Thanks.

Hey Snarl, still in pdx?
Wanna jam?

And Mr. Fitzsimmons of C-attle, that previous Bell witch record you recorded sounded awesome. I'm good friends and bandmates with Erin Leonard of creote fame.

I've used the message board since 2004 to learn about techniques and gear.
Became aware of tapeop in like 2000 when some out of town band guy informed me of the creative recording mag that you didn't even have to pay for.
That was before I lived in portland. Funny enough, I was at the tapeop beer release at Bottles a couple weeks back. Even tried to buy Larry a beer...i mean, the stuff I leaned here was worth a lot more a beer or two.

Hey thanks man! Pretty proud of that one. They just released a new one engineered by Billy Anderson which is obviously crushing!

Yeah, I'll jam. My place or yours? You could use my amps, guitar, bass, drums, whatever. I don't mind shlepping either. What kindof music are you into?

I would like to jam too. Is there a way you can put some drum loops or beats into 24/192 format so I can play them out of my Pono into the mixing board and record our tracks in hi-rez?

drums

Post by ampguy » Sat May 09, 2015 12:24 pm

Carl, I'm wondering if you can do some drums like in this tune:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WzJzDh9nOTg

because I have recorded this a couple of times, and my versions end up being 6 minutes, so I think I'm playing it fast.

Trodden, I noticed you're on a wing and a prayer... Does anyone remember why that became the 5000 post marker? heheh.

IIRC, it was in honor of Jonathan "wing", who was the first to reach 5000.

We should put out a jar so everyone can put their tip in to celebrate. We could use the money to buy some mics.

offer for creot admin

Post by ampguy » Sun May 10, 2015 5:17 pm

if I can get a creat login (pw reset or new acct. for ampguy, whatever it takes), I'll give you guys a 24 hour exclusive on my next couple of tracks, one of which is a video right now. Before it hits, itunes, Pandora, HDTracks, etc.

Can you forward this offer to the creat admin? Thanks.
