Mara restored MCI tape machines??

Post by Harry » Tue Apr 21, 2015 11:52 am

Looks pretty cool.
If I was going to buy a 24 track machine I think this would be it.

Any experience or opinions.

Thanks

would not hesitate if I was in the market. Chris is a super nice and very knowledgable guy, especialy regarding MCI gear. Sold him my JH16 a number of years ago and was an easy transaction and allowed a meetup for a bit of recording geek speak. I'd buy from him, no problem...
I thought this club was for musicians. Who let the drummer in here??

Chris is a great straight-forward guy. I haven't purchased a tape machine from him either, but as has been said above ^^^^ I wouldn't have a problem doing so. Go for it.

Yeah, I can't imagine wanting to regress back into the nightmare that is analog tape (heh heh), but hey, some people are into it. If I was in that particular market I'd definitely check out Mr Mara's wares.

Got tape? That seems to be the problem these days.

Buying a Mara Machine is a smart move if you need/want an MCI!!! Chris is great.

Chris is a solid guy,

If you buy an MCI, definitely go with him.

Cheers
