new fmr rnla vs. old rnla
what is the difference between the newer model rnla vs. the old rnla?

Mine came with black knobs almost 2 years ago. I called them to ask what's up with that and he said that's all they had at the moment. I admit I was a little tweaked about it.
I also don't understand why people describe the effect/color as "thick" and "gooey". It does have a smidge of color but nothing as radical as thick and gooey.

Sorry, U.; that was pretty noxious, I agree.
Anywhat, the RNLA compared to the RNC, does seem more "colored", and less subtle or transparent.
I do agree that it is not "thick and gooey", but I really like it on vocals, sometimes on electric guitars.
It's in the vocal chain (RE320-PM100-RNLA) on this track I did in March.
