Got an 8-slot API lunchbox with the switches on the back for linking. I'm having trouble getting my 2 Neve 511's and 2 DBX 560a's working properly through my patchbay, and I have a feeling the problem is in this linking. I have scoured the internet but can't find anything on this.
So does anyone know if 'link on' is having the switch up or down? I know I can only link 2 modules if they are next to each other in the chassis. The Neves are in chassis slots 1&2 and DBX's in slots 3&4.

It seems that when engaged the dsub output is disabled for that module, and instead combines the output into the prior linked channel.
