A pile of Moog pedals just showed up today from last month's Sweetwater web contest. Trying to decide how to accommodate more pedals in my setup.vvv wrote:S: I've currently no drummer to practice with.

Pedal Boards
Drummers, like high E's are overrated
It would be nice if those were leather cases and the real schematics, instead of boxes. That would be cool having your stompbox in a case, like walkie-talkies used to have.

The previous statement is from a guy who records his own, and other projects for fun. No money is made.
How awesome! You won 'em?kslight wrote:A pile of Moog pedals just showed up today from last month's Sweetwater web contest. Trying to decide how to accommodate more pedals in my setup.vvv wrote:S: I've currently no drummer to practice with.

Looks like - judging by the graffix, you have one of each, eh?
Yah pretty weird?never won anything more than $7 on Powerball once?vvv wrote:How awesome! I won one of each, but I already have a delay, ring, and drive from when they were blowing out the old-print versions at Musician's Friend late last year?lol?so I have a bit of a problem now? :-O
The ones that I've used are really cool pedals, I haven't had time to plug these in?I'm kind of afraid I'll enjoy the others too...

I don't know if I've said this or not, but I've made a zillion pedal boards in my time (yes, that's an exact number), I think my favorite was one I made from an old suitcase. It stood a little to high off the floor to be optimal though.
I've been getting back into pedals though and I'm really thinking of doing two boards. One an amp top board so I can fiddle with controls on stuff that's almost always on (like trem and reverb) and another small board on the floor for fuzz and maybe od.
I've pretty much decided on the little amp top board from Holey Boards as they seem like a great idea. I'll probably make the little floor board.
Just my two cents.

No, I'm prolly gonna move 'em around a bit before I velcro them down. I still have 3 others on another pedal board too. So might make 2 rows of 5. I plan to use this more with my keyboards/iPad/iPhone/POD fx loop kind of thing versus gigging or something (which I don't make a habit of doing these days).Drone wrote:Do you dance around it?
I could make that work. That's not a bad idea?have an Ikea coffee table not 2 feet from me visualizing it...Drone wrote:Yeah, my pedalboard is a coffee table
I'm kind of tempted to gut my old Yamaha Electone organ and just put pedals on it.
I have another pedal board the same size as this one that is loaded, and a pedal board/road case with my POD and a couple more pedals?and a few straggler pedals in limbo?lol?
