I always get distracted thinking "Who convinced him to take the photo?"

Q. How many drumbers does it take to track a 3 minute easy pop song, drums & cyms separately, provided they all:
1. play the drumset
2. Know that you are speaking to them
3. are being paid union scale (never quite understood what that meant).

How many guys named after fictional computers (named after fictional butlers) does it take to tell that joke?

Great! I've got one special just for you, vuvy... Told to me by the one and only Will McFarland (former guitarist for Bonnie Raitt).

A band gets a call from their manager that the showcase that evening is very important-- there is a bidding war on for them at this very moment, and 15 A&R guys will be in the audience waiting to rush them with contracts after the show. The guys get there, set-up, and get ready to play. Curtain goes up, and they are (mostly) in-the-zone. The guitar player is thinking-- "Man, when we get that advance money, I'll buy a new car, get me a Les Paul with real gold frets and tuning keys, and a brand new Ferrari!" The drummer is thinking "I'll get some new tubs; maybe those shiny new DW's! And my girl and I will get some down-time in Hawaii." The keyboardist is thinking about the latest Kurzweil offerings, and maybe some investment strategies for a successful early retirement...

The bass player is thinking............

"A-A-A-A, D-D-D-D, A-A-A-A..."

Q.-- How many guitarists does it take to screw in a light-bulb?

A.-- One to screw in the light-bulb; 25 more to watch and say "Huh. Not bad, but I could have done it better."

Q.-- How many guitarists bring their own 3-to-2 AC/ground adaptor to practice or gigs?

A.-- Trick question-- None of them ever come prepared...

Q.-- Why did the guitar player finally go to practice?

A.-- To get his laundry done and eat the rehearsal room's owner's food...

(Those last two were not even a joke, just actual experiences)...
